The title of the tool | Activity |
The learning objective of the tool | Creativity, team building, increasing group cooperation |
Target Group | Everyone |
Duration of the Tool | Depending of the number of participants |
Preparation (Preparation before the implementation, needed materials etc.) | We need papers, pens, crayons, cube with numbers, figure |
Instructions to implement the tool | For this tool, we need a larger piece of paper on which to draw 30 boxes and number them. On each field we write or color mark whether it is a drawing, a description or a pantomime. For each of these activities, we make cards on which the words are written (it can be anything). Participants are divided into two groups, each group with at least 2 people. Each group can choose a leader who will determine the order of the dice roll. When a person gets in line, rolls the dice and which number appears on the dice, so many fields are shifted. In which field the figure stops, it can perform this task. The task is to describe, draw or show a word to your teammates, and the others have to find out what that word is. They have a minute for each word. If they find out, they reach a point. The team that scores 10 points first wins. |
Skills – SDGs – Key Competences Chart | Better cooperation, learning to work with others |
Sum Up / Debriefing / Reflection at the end of the implementation | We ask participants how they felt throughout the game? Were they happy with their teammates and if they think they all tried the same? On what basis was the leader appointed? Are they happy with the choice of order or would they change it? We ask individually which tasks were easier for them? Describing, drawing or pantomime? Why? |
Any tips / suggestions to the trainers for the further implementations | The difficulty of the words and language is adjusted according to the type of participants |
