Duration of the Tool 
2 hours 

Preparation (Preparation before the implementation, needed materials etc.) 
One copy of the “Planning team briefing notes” for each member;  One copy of the “Model of the hollow square” sheet for each member;  Four envelopes per team – one for each member – each con¬taining four specific pieces of the puzzle;  One copy of the solution sheet for each member.  For the Operating Teams: One copy of the “Operating team briefing notes” for each member  For the observers: One copy of the “Instructions for the observers” for each observer 

Instructions to implement the tool 
Handing out the corresponding instruction sheet for each participant, according to the roles they are playing in the exercise.  Members of the Operating Team are asked to follow the auxiliary trainer to another room and wait there.
